The 44th Annual Caribbean Lectureship, hosted by the churches of Christ in Jamaica, was a great success. Over 400 converged at Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort in Montego from July 13-16 for lectures under the theme, Stop Stressing, Keep Pressing.
Attendees heard inspirational lectures and participated in practical and life impacting workshops. One such workshop was conducted by Elton Terry, Education Minister at the St. Thomas Church of Christ in the U.S. Virgin Islands  His topic, 'Biblical Insight for Postmodern-Day Challenges,' dealt with and illustrated a number of practical responses for the church: an 'exiled' body under attack and unsupported by the modern world. One such response to the attack is that Christians need to hold on to the evidence of our resurrected Saviour and allow it to restore us when we are feeling hopeless.

Other presenters dealt with topics such as, 'Stop Stressing, Keep Pressing', 'I Hear the call', 'It hurts but it Helps', 'Single and Married', 'Face the book', 'Absolute Truth', 'Yeah Man', 'Hope to Cope', 'Same Old Thing' and 'If we miss Heaven'.
The lectureship was punctuated by powerful singing, prayers and field reports of the work of the church in different islands. The highlight of the lectureship was two baptisms which occurred on the final night.

The organizers of the lectureship ought to be commended for their dedication to this annual event which continues to impact brethren in the Caribbean, USA and other parts of the world.

The 2015 Annual Caribbean Lectureship is scheduled for July 12th - 15th in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands under the theme 'Consider Your Ways', Haggai 1:5-7.

Ah, Ronnel! This is a very nice summary of the event written by a very nice sister whose presence helped to make the fellowship what it was; Yeah, Mon!

The 44th Caribbean Lectureship was truly an event worth being a part of. The fellowship experienced and encouragement received will go a long way. Looking forward to attending the next one.

Wow the speakers spoke the word and the singing also spoke the word.
I got much blessings from the Lectureship in Jamaica. Thanks to the brethren there for their hard work and sacrifice.

I saw some videos of congregational singing posted on facebook and I felt as if I miss sooooooo much. It gave me goosebumps. I'm definitely going to do all I can not to miss 2015 God's will.
