Inasmuch as you did it unto one of the least of these, you did it unto me.*
SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY
As individual Christians, we are cognizant of the word of our Lord which states, “Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.” (Matthew 6:1-3) To this end, we will not report the details of all benevolent work done by and for our members. However, we humbly state that we are our brother’s keeper therefore, we take seriously our Lord’s command to assist those who are in need. “If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?” (James 2:15-16)
As a congregation, our benevolence and outreach programmes are designed to be of service by bringing light to persons in need of spiritual, material or social assistance. Jesus instructed in Matthew 5:14-16, "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Scheduled on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis (also whenever the need arises), our outreach impacts not only members of Kingstown Church of Christ but also extends to other congregations from time to time. We also have an ongoing effort that touches another Caribbean country and a local primary school. God's providence and the prayers of our brethren throughout the world are a significant contributing factor towards the success of these humble efforts.

Deeds of KindnessThis quarterly outreach effort started in 2004. Grocery items and various other donations are collected by members of our congregation and distributed to needy individuals or households known to us primarily in our immediate vicinity of Kingstown Park or our extended society throughout the island.

Lewis Punnett HomeFor over 20 years, the Kingstown Church of Christ has had a relationship with the Lewis Punnett Home, a public geriatric and indigent care facility in Glen. Currently, a small group of faithful brethren visit the home monthly and the congregation is also responsible for supplying birthday gifts to residents during the month of August.

School Feeding AssistanceIn St. Vincent and the Grenadines, there are a number of children who benefit from the government's EC$1 per day school feeding program. Though generally affordable, there are still a number of children who cannot afford this fee. Kingstown Church of Christ partners with a local primary school in the form of a monthly donation to the school to assist these students.
